Details are beginning to hit the web that Microsoft’s Hotmail has been hacked by an anonymous user which has then leaked thousands of users’ passwords onto the net. As of this Sunday evening, nothing was confirmed by Microsoft but BBC News has just reported that Microsoft did supply them with a statement just recently today.


The news of the alleged hack was initially reported by Neowin.net, which stated, “An anonymous user posted details of the accounts on October 1 at pastebin.com, a site commonly used by developers to share code snippets.
